“Father, make of me a crisis man. Bring those I contact to decision. Let me not be a milepost on a single road;
make me a fork
, that men must turn one way or another on facing Christ in me.” - Jim Elliot

Footloose from the Snow and Weather!
- lyrics by sister sheri

(sung to the tune of Deck the Halls)

Flyin' through Chicago was our folly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Should' ve just hitched a trolley
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

On we tossed our snow apparel,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Family said, "Don't fly in peril"
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Christopher's tears flow before us,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Sheri's tears join the chorus.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Poor Anthony feels our pressure
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Fam'ly memories none can measure
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Flight delays, Christmas Eve passes,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Landed late, amongst the masses,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Family now joins together,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Footloose from the snow and weather!
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

I'm soooo glad you made it. And if you are truly out of the snow, how wonderful!! We're still mired in it in the neighborhoods. Hopefully, by the time you return home, all will be normal and raining!! Have a wonderful time with your loved ones.

Blessings,

Oh my, I knew at least one of my bloggy friends was probably caught up in the mess called winter wonderland. Apparently, you're the one! God bless your sweet heart. The stress must have been swirling around you at all levels. Hope all has resolved itself by now and that you look back on this with some measure of perspective, maybe even a little humor.

Merry post-Christmas. God's peace and blessing be yours as we look toward the hope and promise of a new year.
